Meet the Suckaus: Owners of EcoLanco
I moved with my family to Lancaster in 2010 for a non-profit job in International Economic Development.
As a way to support our long term financial goals for retirement and tuition for our children, we started to buy, remodel and rent old homes in Lancaster city besides my full time international work. After 12 years of traveling the world for work, we decided to start a business to invest our time here at home in making the environment of our wonderful city clean and healthy for our families.
Health hazards, like lead paint, asbestos, mold and unclean water can poison us and our children. We started EcoLanco to address the environmental hazards to ensure we have a healthy place to call home.
Living in older homes with lead based paint and other environmental hazards has brought a lot of stress into our already busy lives raising our children.
We started the company to provide a peace of mind for families in Lancaster County, knowing that their home and their community is safe from environmental hazards for themselves and their children.
We developed a variety of services to address some of the unique environmental hazards found in Lancaster county both inside the home and within the community.
